SnipeOffice isn’t some massive tech empire — it’s part of a small, family-run network of passion projects including SnipeSearch.net, SnipeSocial.net, and toot.snipesearch.co.uk.
Over a decade ago, we built SnipeSocial to defend personal freedom and privacy online, long before it was trendy.
We created SnipeSearch 2 decades ago, because we believed search should protect users, not exploit them. We launched our Mastodon instance, Toot.SnipeSearch.co.uk, to give marginalized individuals and businesses a place to speak freely as other instances shut down around them.
All of this — every server, every tool, every update — has been personally subsidized by freelance work we hustle to find.
We’ve never been backed by corporations. We’ve never harvested data. We’ve never sold out.
SnipeOffice was built on a budget and released for free because solving problems mattered more than chasing money.
But honestly? It’s exhausting. Keeping all this alive takes real resources.
At this point, it would mean the world if you helped.
You can donate easily through PayPal, or hundreds of types of crypto.
Even simply searching using SnipeSearch.net helps keep the lights on.
If you care about real privacy, real freedom, and truly independent software, now’s the time to step up.
